To be eligible to become a resident at Protheroe House you must be:

  • aged 55 or over
  • able to live safely on your own with some support
  • have an assessment with the Care Team at Protheroe House at a time that suits you.

Our Care Offer

Assisted Living Offer

The purpose of Protheroe House Assisted Living is to offer an alternative to residential care for older people ensuring housing, social, health, support and care needs are met, within independent fully supported flats. Also to reduce isolation and encourage social stimulation, maintain relationships, make new ones and meet the needs of a diverse community.

Core Care Charge

The Core care charge includes:

  • An onsite management team
  • Support staff available 24 hours a day
  • Co-ordinating assistive technology
  • Family liaison
  • Emergency response and support and reactive care
  • Housing related support such as paying and monitoring of rent and utilities, setting up and maintaining the fabric of the home
  • Health and safety checks
  • Support with benefit claims

  • Management monitoring

Menu Care Charge

The Menu care charge can include the following services:
